Hi, I am replacing an existing staircase and would like to ask some of you experts out there the best way of dismantling the old without damaging the parts. The staircase is completely wooden and in good repair. Where do I start? With the bottom Newell post, or should I take out the balusters first? I don't know how they are secured - glue/nails? and to be honest I don't even know how to check this. As you can tell I am a novice, but keen to learn........
