How do I remove a door knob with no screws? I want to install a new door knob.

This must be an older one---You'll need a medium sized flat screw driver--

Look at the knob on the lock side----on the stem about where it meets the escutcheon you should see a small rectangular hole--that's the knob release button--push that with your screwdriver and the knob will pull off.

Next pry off the escutcheon cover with a screwdriver----there are the screws.

There are other variates of this same idea --post a picture if this doesn't work----tell us if it does--Mike--
