Remodeling a salon

I have a friend who wants to remodel his wife's salon. There's a wall he wants to open up on two sides. These two walls of four are currently just built above the drop ceiling not attached to the steel decking above. This is all steel framing. My question is, how would these walls be reenforced/built to carry the weight of themselves & drywall if the wall is opened up for a bar/caffe type setting?

Welcome to the Forum!

a sketch of what is proposed and a few photos would certainly aid in getting useful comments.

what is the height of the wall, and the proposed opening? is the opening going to the top of the wall, or exactly how high?

gonna need more information .......

A commercial building is also going to need permits and be inspected.
