Refurbishing an old dresser

A small four-drawer dresser was left in the smaller bedroom in my house, and instead of tossing it out, we want to refurbish it for use in the office/guest bedroom. Right now its white, and i want to paint it red so it might brighten the room up a little bit, or at least provide a focal point. Not really a problem, i just plan to sand it down to the original wood color, prime and paint. the problem is that the top drawer is kinda broken. the face is off of it, and needs to be put back on before i paint. I want a uniform look so i cant use nails or screws.

What is the best adhesive for wood-to-wood contact?

the only pic i have is of about a foot-long piece of it and that wouldnt help, so no pictures

Titebond wood glue has always been my favorite: http://www.titebond.com/product.aspx...b-217a38930fa2

Drawer facing are attached from the backside so any fastners would not show.
