question about finishing basement walls / framing

Half of my basement was already finished when I moved into it. I plan on finished the rest of the basement and had a question regarding framing the walls. I know the bottom plate must be pressured treated. From what I have researched, it seems most studs are nailed to the bottom (pressure treated) plate. Is there anything wrong if I had a second (non pressure treated) bottom plate to nail the studs into? I like to build each wall section and then sit it on top of the pressure treated bottom plate. Please let me know if I made this confusing and I can try to put a diagram up.

Thx in advance for any advice given.

Mark

The only issue would be to use fasteners that will be compatible with the pressure treated lumber.

That won't hurt anything. Also, use treated blocks to hold your wall away from the concrete wall.
