picnic table


I need to replace the seats of my picnic table, what type of wood should I use..

I used PT on my picnic table
I used a solid 2x10 as the seat, supported underneath by a 2x6 on edge
I routed & sanded all the edges
The corners I cut slightly before routing & sanding

just worried about my kids getting slivers from the press. treated wood

That's why I routed & sanded everything
I check it in the Spring & sand again

You can use reg wood & treat it
