pellet stove


the hearth has to be ceramic concrete ect. Do the side walls have to be if your putting stove in a corner .

If it were in my house it would have fire proof walls behind it.

pellet stove


there is no need for a non combusible wall around the pellet stove. there is also no need for a hearth. as long as you have a stable floor. As long as the unit is ducted properly. mine is in the corner of my living room and sits on they mat which was supplied with the stove. The mat is on top of the carpet
