Need Suggestions

I made this about 18 months ago. Took the time to apply sealer all around but alas, it has succumbed to the weather.

Looking for suggestions to re-create something similar. I like the black grain wood look. Considered doing this with the foam trim. Problem is, I live in South Florida and I think the summer heat may get to the trim.

The brass Om sign has screws brazed to the back.

Once you make it, you could glass it or simply add a marine spar.?

Ah, brilliant. And to think I worked on boats many years ago. Should have thought of that myself. Thanks. What I'm thinking now is to coat all surfaces after cutting. Assembling, then coating again. BTW, the miter cuts were perfect when it was originally assembled.

And then what do you do when all that sealer starts to peel?
Back up and take another picture so we can see the whole thing.
I'm picturing a sheet of James Hardee with the stucco pattern, and PVC trim painted with latex paint.

Mount it on black glass and make the frame out of cedar.

We have stained glass windows hanging outside for
years and years with cedar frames.

You can get a piece of black stained glass at a stained glass
store.

yes I do, I assume this is outside? The glass and the cedar will
be able to withstand the weather.
I'm surprised though, that the teak didn't stand up to the
elements?
