Need to replace or repair kitchen drawer slide
I have a "Quaker Maid" kitchen drawer with a broken roller on the left slide.
The slide looks like this, but on the other side: http://www.qmreplacements.com/drawer...er_slide_1.jpg Is there any source for a replacement for this, or some way of replacing that roller? Quaker Maid sent me a "replacement" which is of completely different style and say the style I need is no longer available. |
It would be easier to just replace the drawer guide. It's a standard guide sold in lumberyards and big box stores. You just need to check out the extension length. Some are 3/4 and some are full extension. Full is better as the whole drawer is visable, but get what you like.
The wheels will be harder to get and match. Ron |
Remove the roller from the one they sent you and rivet back on to the frame with the broken one.

Thanks, I will remove the slide and take it around town when I have a day off.
