Need High temp trim in white

I have a fire door close to a wood stove. By code it has enough clearance but it does get warm. The wall is fire rock. I would like molding to cover the ugly steel trim. I prefer white and if I have to paint it, that defeats the purpose. I was wondering if hardi board cement/fiber trim or something similar would hold up?

Most big paint stores can get you fire resistant paint. It's not exactly cheap and as far as I know only comes in gallons. You'd have to ask about second coating with another paint. That may reduce it's effectiveness.
