nailing into duct work


Is it ok to screw or nail ceiling rails into duct work?

I wouldn't, just from the stand point of dust collection and any flexing of the ducting will be amplified across the ceiling.

Did that once while installing some drywall on the ceiling, doesn't work very good that way.
