Mud Room Bench

1 Attachment(s)
My wife would like a Mud Room Bench and I look every where for a book or magazine to get ideas or how to build one.

Any good books or info on how to do this?

The pic was my wife's giving me hints.

I like the one Pittsville posted with one exception, if you happen to be in snow country then I prefer to keep the bottom open so that shoes/boots can be stowed under there and is easy to clean up the moisture.

Thanks guys ,
that's what I've been looking for. Wish I could print out each page. I could only print out the wood cut. It's like 15pg long with photo's

Any other web sites ?

GBrackins , your right I live in MA. and thinking of just open slots for Boot's and Shoes. She is the one that wrote on the photo. She wants bead board all around the mud room , we just finish painting ,so I haven't started laying the base board yet , I did just bought a book on crown molding witch I got to read real good. What is the best blade to use on a table saw for bead board to get a good clean cut. I am planning on using Oak because it's strong and strait , but she wants to paint it white. To build the base of the seat what would be best wood to use that is strait and strong like 2x4. Should I use a Framing Nail Gun? or just counter sink wood screws to get a clean look.
