Moulding For Space between Cabinet & Soffit

Hello. I am finishing up in the kitchen. There is a soffit above the cabinets, there is a space between the cabinet and soffit in some spots. I would like to use some type of mouling to hid this space. Any suggestions? When I ordered the cabinets they sent me 2 stripes of scribe moulding, I was going to use that but I think I rather use it on the ends of the cabinets (where the cabinets meet the walls). Suggestions? My worry is matching the color since they are a cream/white color.

You mean like 1-1/2" crown molding?
Finishes off a kitchen nicely.

If your job is like some that I have done, you have about an inch or less of room between the door and the soffit. I found a moulding at our nearest big box lumber yard that looks like a quarter round with a 1/8" step at the flat edges. It fits nice in the space and looks like a mini-crown.

Ryan,
Kind of like the others have said, depends on how much room you have between the door tops and the soffit. Check with the cabinet suppier. They normally have a whole line of mouldings to match their cabinets. If you have the room, they usually have a nice crown that is only about 1 1/8" tall. Looks better than a scribe or quarter round molding.

Sounded like the OP was looking for something custom to fit a tight space. I agree that if the manufacturer has one that fits, then go for it
