I just painted my risers and treads. Risers white treads tan. I want to put a
plastic piece of decorative molding at each tread/riser
junction. I do not want to brad/nail it in too much trouble it's a tiny piece of molding not quarter round but flatter hard to nail into and then deal with holes.
I was thinking of hot gluing them down (probably not a good idea right?) so what would you suggest to sticking them down?
They are a super flexible light weight plastic from HD colored white which I want. Looks good to make the transition from tan tread to white riser look cleaner (paint line is covered up)
I'm with "Just Bill" here. Use shoe molding, pre-paint it and ask around with your friends to see if anyone has a brad nailer pneumatic airgun. It's easy this way. Fill the holes with white caulk or spackling.
