you can adjust how much resistance it hasso it doesnt glide as easily you know. its clearly marked on the back.. your the first person ive heard say anything bad about the saw other than the weight of it. i know a ton of guys that have them and they all love it. just about every trade publication has given it 5 out of 5 on their reviews both for accuracy and power. the dewalts are underpowered garbage.. the problem with dewalt is they focus more on marketing than the actual product.. they constantly try to claim that "they are revlutionizing tools yet again" when all their doing is keeping up with everyone else.. be it saws, cordless technology. bosch and makita focus on a quality product that sells it self. much like how toyota and nissan do compared to what ford and chev do
