Miter Saws
 

What is everyone using for miter saws I am going to get a new one today and have narrowed it down to either the hitachi or ridgid 12 inch double bevel non slider anyone have any expieriance with either ?

We have the 12" Ridgid Sliding compound.
It's operated fine over the passt several years.
Only problem we had was when a meathead worker dropped it from 14' - off a set of pump jacks and it hit the lawn. A few peices got broken, but most was covered under the Ridgid warranty = Nice.

i have always used Makita and have always been very pleased with the value. I don't know if they have a great warranty or if i just have a great rep in my area but they have always taken great care of me, and have even brought tools to my jobsite and left them with me so i can take them for a test drive before i buy
