miter saw 45 Deg how too turn table?
ok got a new miter saw at sears,
i want to turn the the table to a 45 Deg so i can cut
my window casing angles,
but no matter how much i read the instructions i cant figure out how too,
anyone know how to do this ive tried everything,
im new to using miter saws,

Flip up the red lever on the right hand side behind the guide. Then spin the saw to the correct setting and tighten the lever to lock in place.

ah i should have been more clear,
i know how to move the saw to 45 degree cut,
i was looking how to move the table to 45 degree,
hope this clears things up,

A bevel cut? Just loosen the big red knob on the back of the saw and tilt the blade. This saw only tilts to the left.

what we are trying to do is this,
Mark and cut the side casings to length with the miter saw set to 45 degrees.
Miter-cut the head casing to 45 degrees,
just need to cut the window casing so they fit together,
on the video he can tilt his cutting angle on the table,
what i was trying to do oh my miter saw,

also here is a link to another miter saw i like,
was thinking about trading mine back to sears for this one,
i notice it has a 9 positive miter table stops and little lever in front,
that looks alot easier to move to different degree cuts,

You're talking about a compound miter cut, which tilts the blade to the table on a vertical plane. You do not need a compound cut for casing. Simply set the table to 45 degrees and set your casing flat to the table and cut it. Casing should not be cut vertical to the fence unless you have a compound miter saw.
Actually, for basic trim work, you can do most everything with a basic miter saw. I never use mine except to back-cut miters a degree to ensure a tight fit.

mine is a Craftsman 9 Amp 7-1/4 in. Compound Miter Saw,
yeah im trying to set the table to 45 degree,
but i cant find anything on the saw to release and move it,
ive tried everything on it,
i am such a noob,lol

just got the table to turn to a 45 degree angle,
i have to lock the miter saw down,
then push down and turn,
i guess every miter saw is a little different,
