Minimum width for cabinet filler strip?

I am installing full overlay door Diamond cabinets, I want to on my layout save as much space as possible, so making the filler strip between the first cabinet and the wall be as small of width as possible is ideal.

When you have cabinets that have full overlay doors how much filler space do you need between the cabinet and wall? When the doors open I assume they are pretty much in line with the end of the cabinet and would only need room really for the door knob to stuck out past that? Would that be the minimum width plus say half an inch or so?
