Matching baseboard to tile

I need to match a baseboard end where it butts up against a caulked bull-nose tile.

The baseboard is 1/2" thick & the bull-nose tile piece is rounded down to about 1/4", maybe a little less, and is caulked (not grouted).

The tile is at the bottom of a tub, with the bull-nose away from the tub where it meets the baseboard that runs away from the tub.

I know I need to somehow trim the baseboard down to the tile and its caulk, but am not sure how to do that.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Matching baseboard to tile

Put the baseboard up against the tile and use a compass to scribe the tile's profile on it. Then use a coping saw to cut it out. I'd clean the caulk off the tile before scribing and then re-caulk after
