Just had to let everyone that is interested know that I have had a Makita hypoid drive saw for a couple years and it got run over by our 26,000 lb. Lull on a job site and all it needed was a new deck and a little cleaning had it all back together in a half hour and as good as new!!!!
I have had several Worm/hypoid drive saws. Never wore one out, they were stolen. Never had a makita, but that type of saw is built with the pro in mind, solid, made to last a LONG time, under adverse conditions.
