laying laminate floor without using beads and skirting board is in and to the floor
was going to be tiliing so skirting has been fitted running with floor now going to laminate and dont want to use beading or remove skirting, can it be done once gap has been cut at bottom of skirting probably using a bosch pmf 180 e cutter ?
Please try to explain a bit more clearly---what is a 'beading'?
What is 'skirting'
Most of our members are from Canada or the U.S. and the words we use to describe different trims and procedures might be a bit different.---Mike----
If skirting is base molding and beading is 1/4 round or similiar, you can undercut the basemolding, but it be very hard to get the proper clearance under the basemolding so it looks as if it were sitting snuggly on top.
It will also be impossible to get the last rows in as you need to raise the leading edge to get the snap and clic edges together. You cannot simultaneously raise it and tuck it under the skirting.
You will need to remove the skirting on the last wall.
I'll say this wouild be an ill advised installation method.
