Kitchen crown molding

We have installed new cabinets in our kitchen. They are of different heights and depths and give a very nice look. We are considering adding crown molding. My question...does anyone ever put crown on just some of the cabinets or do you need to do al the cabinets? I was thinking of not "crowning" the smaller recessed cabinets and letting the taller forward cabinets.

Opinions please!

I personally like the crown on all the cabinets, It gives it beautiful look,

You should crown them all. It would look unfinished in my opinion if they all weren't crowned.

Even tho the cabinets may be set at different heights/levels, they will look fine, with all of them having matching crown trim.

Heck, the lower, recessed cabinets are the easy ones to crown. Two straight cuts, cut to length, nail them on and your done.

I agree with the others, it wouldn't look finished if only some have crown and some don't.

OK, I have obtained the same opinions at home too so it we're going "all the way".

Thanks
