Joining 2 different sized pieces of crown moulding
I am currently installing my kitchen cabinet crown which did not come in the same size or style as my currently installed crown moulding on the wall. It will be about an inch narrower than the moulding it is going to meet in the corner. This is an inside corner. As i see it i have 3 options of how to handle the intersection:"
1. Put a return on the wall crown and run the kitchen crown into the wall.
2. Get a corner block and intersect them
3. Scribe the kitchen moulding and join the 2 directly.
Any hints or tips....and no, buying new kitchen trim is out of the question, as they dont make the same style as the wall.
