I am replacing the interior trim and on one door I don't have enough room for a whole piece of trim between the door and the wall and the wall is curved on the top. The old piece of trim that I removed was cut in half, is that the best way to do this? Does anyone have any tips they can give me on the best way to trim this? Thanks!
Hey Diana. I dont have any tips other than just to cut it and make it work. I have 7 doorways in my house that are like this. Door must have been a different size back in the 50's or something.
Hopefully you saved the old piece and you can just mark the new one the same and cut it with a whatever type of saw you have on hand...
