interior door install ?
I have two interior prehung doors to install. The wall is not perfectly plumb (about 1/4" out). What is the best way to install. If I want the door casing to work out I need to hold flush with wall. If I want door plumb, it will be 1/4" out at either top or bottom. I was thinking on holding top flush, then adjusting at bottom, this way casing at top will work out nice. Any suggestions?

Install so the DOOR is plumb. Use a plane to shave off the jamb where its proud of the wall. Use a utility knife or rasp to shave back the drywall where its proud of the jamb. Also remember this quote from a carpenter friend "A little caulk and a little paint makes a carpenter what he ain't"!!!
