installing interior tongue and groove wood siding

I've got 1 by 6 inch yellow pine #2 tongue and groove siding installing horizontally. I plan on using an finish nail gun. What size nails and gun should I buy? I know to start at the bottom tongue side up and blind nail the tongue. Any other advice is appreciated. Thanks.

You can use anything from an 18 ga to a 15 ga. I would suggest something in the middle a 16 ga. And make sure whatever length of nail you use is is long enough to go through the material, dry wall, and at least 3/4" into the studs. So probably 2" nails.
