Identification of Hardwood Floor


Can anyone tell me whether this is oak or maple flooring?

Identification of Hardwood Floor


If you know it's one of the two, I would say Maple. It looks like unfinished cherry to me.

it's definately not oak, and I agree that it looks more like cherry than maple as well.

If you can find a spot that's been hidden from UV light and it's much lighter... than it's definately cherry.

If it is one of the two it is maple. Could be be birch.
