crecore Extreme DIY'r Adk's, NY   Join Date: Nov 2005 Posts: 293	Identification of Hardwood Floor it's definately not oak, and I agree that it looks more like cherry than maple as well. If you can find a spot that's been hidden from UV light and it's much lighter... than it's definately cherry. CR
