Ideas for Scrap Lumber Storage

I need to find a way to store my scrap lumber (2x material, partial sheets of plywood, etc.) Right now I just stack it on my basement floor and when I need a piece I end up shifting a bunch to find what I need.

Any good ideas (with pictures) for this type of storage? I'm handy, but by no means a great carpenter.

Visit the back storage/ shipping area of a box store and see their racking. It all depends on the variety and amount of scrap you have. They basically store everything in vertical sections.
