I want to build 2 corner shelf units for speakers.
Hello there,
I have 2 speakers that are 8" deep and 8" wide, i would like to build a corner shelf for each speaker. The base is no problem, what is the safest way to hold the shelf plus the weight of the speaker in the corner? This is for a bedroom and i would like something a little more modern, not the cheap metal brackets. I ran a stud finder and it appears in each corner, the studs are about 2 inch's from the corner in either direction. Thank you. Sellncars Last edited by Sellncars; 08-26-2006 at 04:23 PM. |

I would build a shelf like in the picture below. You can put four screws into the back corner into the studs in the corner of the room.
