How much should I pay ??

Hi all , I am looking to replace my old bedrrom and bathroom doors with a decent looking pre-hung door. I wanted to know about how much I would have to pay for someone to remove the old ones and install the new ones. How much per door and is it extra to put on the moulding? Any advice would be appreciated , thank you :o

Here in BC I would figure on about 100.00 + Materials and waiste disposal
but no way to know for sure without looking at it.

One other question

Thank you for your response. I have one other question , does that price include the door moulding or is that extra ? I have gotten a wide variation in pricing and some is just for the doors and others include moulding. I am just trying to make sure I get the job done right and not get charged too much. I just think if I did it myself I would end up unhappy with the outcome. Thanks again ;)

If its just a simple moulding I would probably throw it in
since it only takes a minute. Remeber this quote is a
UNSEEN quote so without looking at it theres no way to tell if this is enough.
Its just a ball park figure based on a simple removal and instalation.

I would charge 60.00 a door labor only. Includes installation of door, lockset, casing both sides and disposal. Now many contractors charge extra for small job, because it will only take half the day, if that.

You didn't mention if it needs to be painted or stained to match existing or not. That right there will kick up your cost a bit.

$$ 125.00 per door including molding...
Staining and or paitning not included
