how to frame diagonal wall

No walls are up yet, does this involve ripping corner studs at an angle on a table saw where diagonal walls meet?

No need to really, but would not do any harm.

So you are saying all I need to do is cut top and bottom plates on an angle and line up corner stud with plate?

It all depends on the angle---if the corner stud gap is close enough for attaching a corner bead when the drywall is installed--then you are probably okay---

Make sure the studs are stable and wont pop your drywall corners by moving---

I usually add a ripper to the opening so the outside corner can't flex.
