How do I repair screw holes in a Landing banister?
I have to install a baby gate at the top of the stairs. All the gates I've seen says I need to hardware mount. I'll have to drill into my wooden landing banister post at the top of the stairs. Eventually our baby will out grow the gate and we won't need it. At that time, how do I fill in the hole that is left by the screw?
Even if I use wood filler/putty how do I get the same finish? I fear it'll never be the same....
Please advise. Thanks.
