I assume that the opening into the attic is 20" by 29" ? And that you want to buy a folding ladder that would fit into this opening?

I have never had to buy one of these, but I Googled 'folding attic ladder' and found this site that contains lots of useful info about this type of ladder.

Perhaps you can find the info that you need, there!

It's generally cheaper to buy a standard size ladder and adjust the framing to accomodate it.

Yep, get a standard ladder and make the entrance hole bigger, its not a big job at all, but getting a ladder to fit may be.
