Hot tub shade ideas

My hot tub is inside a screen enclosure. I had an umbrella covering it for a while, but due to the heat of Florida, the life of an umbrella is only a couple of years. I do not want to keep buying a new umbrella. So I came up with the idea of a pergola that would attach to the wall so I would have 2 posts. The problem is, would it look stupid to have a pergola inside a screen enclosure. Would the poles get in the way? Just trying to come up with idea. Anyone?

Hot tub shade ideas

Landscape fabric on a wire/pulley system? A light-weight framed slatted cover that stands next to tub when not in use but can pivot overhead like a fence on long arms to use? Bamboo shades on their sides (on framework) like "Roman shades" that can open and close? Tyvek attached to the overhead screening? Two more layers of screening attached to the old and run at diagonals to block the sun? Plant some wisteria and fertilize with "Miracle Grow"?

Be safe, Gary
