I built a 26x10ft deck with all the right simpson ties, lumber, flashing etc. I purchased beautiful full dimension lumber from a family owned mill. I routered the top edges and lightly sanded the rough cut surface. I stained with the new hybrid stuff required in CA. Now I'm ready for deck boards. I purchased the Camo system only to find out it doesn't work for full size 2x6 lumber. The Tiger Claw looks like a real pain. Any suggestions or should I just go 2 screws per joist and get over it.
I'm planning on doing the other two decks around the house and would not want to go through the hit and miss stuff again.
Nice job on your project and thanks for the positive vibe. I think I will try the Tiger Claw. I have clamps and a bowrench to help. The only thing I'm missing is a second person. When I'm done I'll try to put together a list of all the tips I was told or found on how one person can work better. Valuable stuff I learned along the way.
