help with moldings

I am putting in crown moldings. Some of the corners fit ok but when I get to the next corner with the same 45 degree cut, the bottom of the molding fits ok but the top is too wide, leaving a gap. How do I correct this?

help with moldings

This corner may be out of square. Play with some scrap pieces to find the right angle.
