Default Help with Molding Around Doors

Hi everyone, I really could use the help of anyone who has some ideas. I've started putting planking in my kitchen over the wallboard. Already half way through, I was looking around some of the doors (sliding glass, regular doors) and saw a big problem. Because the planking sticks out so much from the wall, how am I going to attach molding without the molding sticking out everywhere?

Thanks so much in advance!

I've attached some pictures to better illustrate:

You will have to come up with some trim idea. There are no set rules for this kind of stuff. Look around and get some ideas. Buy some short pieces of molding and try some different combinations.

Or put a thicker piece of molding around the door and then butt the bead board up against that.

You are going to have to make us some jamb extensions to custom fit each doorway. If you are not well versed in woodworking you'll have to hire a carpenter.

Best of luck with the project, rredogg
