hard to find molding

I have been looking for a peice of baseboard cap which will match the existing molding in my parents livingroom. I have not had any success at any of the lumber yards (or box stores) I've visited. Any advice on how I can find a place that stocks a decent selection of trim? I am about ready to scavange a peice from a closet or behind the sofa.

hard to find molding

What you should do, is find a cabinet maker shop or some kind of mill shop. They have the tools there to make pretty much any kind of wood work you could need. Tho, you will pay more than at a large store....

Get out the phone book and call around and ask your question.

Good Luck
