Friction fit adjustable desk?

Hey guys,

I've been doing research about building a desk that has an adjustable height. The height will allow it to convert between a sitting and standing desk.

I think I found the perfect desk. This is pretty much exactly what I was looking for:

My only question: he says the legs are "friction fit" and are adjustable. How easy do you think it is to adjust that? What exactly is "friction fit"? I'd like to be able to adjust it easily.

Looks like a pain in the butt to adjust the height---I might be missing something----

Friction fit adjustable desk?

I have to agree with you Mike!! in looking over the plans etc this is not a DIY project unless you have the right equipment, let alone patience, to build it. Once the desk is built, how much stuff would you have to clear off the top to make it not so heavy as to move it up and down,????

Yeah, I feel the same way. I chose not to go this route, so thanks for the input!
