Framing costs

How much are framing costs per sq foot in Pittsburgh Pa? I am looking to build a 7000 sq foot home and I am the contractor.

Since you’re a Pittsburgh Pa. contractor just ask one of your framing buds.

Are you a real Contractor who doesn't know framing costs, or are you a homeowner trying to act as a Contractor doing your own home looking for framing costs?

7000 sf and you're asking a DIY Forum????
Really?
1st time?
Change in area location?
New to the business?

Like Kwik said...spreadsheet.

Start from the bottom and work your way up. Build it in your mind and put it on paper.

Associate a time allotment for each and every step of each and every day until the thing is finished, detailed, and signed off as complete.
Multiply the time by your labor rate that includes O&P (overhead & profit)

The lumber yard will quote the materials. then add a % markup and contingency.

Funny...same question in carpentry, different name. I would suggest the homeowner call a real framing contractor.

Bob and animatornccf are the same person. So I merged the 2 threads. And banned his Bob Bingham account.

Framing costs

Many people think a DIY forum is appropriate for "validating" the pricing received from a contractor. Sadly, they are mistaken...
