floating exterior steps drawings


Any schematics available from anyone on floating exterior wooden steps?

I already told you how they are built in one of you're other threads on the same subject.
There is nothing floating there, it's all an illusion. Get rid of the greens and the shadows and/or look from a different angle and you'd see.

these are built with a column at each corner. one of the columns passes through the landing below.

as kwik said, nothing is floating

I doubt that's even happening. That's just a landing stacked on a landing, probably with notched joist (think toe kick).

That's how I'd do it anyway.
