Exterior trim boards in colors

I am looking for an 'Azek' type trim board. I need them in colors. Either a brick red or Hunter green.

Anyone have any clues?

To my knowledge pvc trim is only available in white. The solid plastic products are available in colors, but I don't have enough faith in their quality to use for trim on a house. Azek is paintable when primed with a recommended xylene based primer.

A late thought...Now that Azek is offerring decking (procell) , I believe it has a few color options on the lighter side, don't expect to find dark green though. It also has a heavy grain pattern since it is decking material, so even if you find an acceptable color, the finish may not work for you.

Azek, PVC trim material, is only manufactured in white. If you intend to paint it a dark color, you need to talk to a Sherwin Williams paint dealer; they make a paint specifically for pvc, though I don't know the name. The problem is, pvc expands/contracts due to temperature, and the darker the paint, the larger the change in temperature. SW paints somehow minimizes this, though I've never actually seen anyone use it. Yet.

I may have no alternative. This is a smaller application. I know Krylon makes a spray enamel for PVC furniture, this could do the trick as well.

I remember as an ex-paint dealer when people first started painting vinyl siding darker colors how the dark (sunlight absorbing) colors would heat and expand the siding.

BTW, thanks for knowing it's not "Sherman" Williams
