Exterior sliding doors

I want to connect a slide to the deck so that the kids can slide off the deck into the backyard.

I need to make an opening (of about 3 feet by 3 feet) in the walls of the (5 foot high) deck so that the kids can get on to the slide, but I need to make it secure for the baby crawling around on the deck. I figured sliding doors would work best to close off the opening. Regular doors would take up a lot of the space on the deck as they open and close and could be a hazard if they swing in to someone.

Any ideas how I can make easy but durable exterior sliding doors?

plywood...prime and paint. Put z clips at top edge to keep from falling over.

I'd use aluminum "U" channel top and bottom and make 2 smaller doors out of a composite material that opened to each side.
To keep the doors secured, you can use a hasp and a lock or drill a hole through each top and drop bolts in to keep the rugrats from opening the doors.
