Electrical Panel/Breaker Box Cabinet

Hi Everyone,

I just got a new electrical panel installed. I am finishing my basement and I am looking for ideas on how to enclose this. I understand that there is a 30" rule, but its just not going to happen here, there is no room for that. Any ideas on how to hide this thing?

You don't appear to be in violation of the 30" wide working space requirement. With that door closed, you've got it. The panel doesn't have to be centered in the 30" wide space, it can be offset to one side. Might be a bit tight at the ceiling but otherwise ok.

In my opinion your best bet is to fur out the wall floor to ceiling and simply put a removable cabinet door over the front of the electric panel, giving full access to the panel without getting into the required clear working area.

Paint it flat white, it disappears into the background. Done!
