Dual Router Table

I am interested in building a dual router table; as in two routers on one table. I would like to use it for making tongue and grove boards (cedar strip). I want to attach this table to my thickness planner so that I can do three sided planing. Does anyone have plans or have done this? Woodmaster can do it, can I?

Thanks, Curtis

How much product are you running?

Do you have a link to the one woodmaster makes?

I have a double table --but the routers are set to run separately----Anything is possible----

Dual Router Table

I have two projects going that need the t&g cedar. I will likely need a 1000 board foot or a bit more for these projects.

I have looked at the Woodmaster unit in their online adds, but this raises some questions in my mind. For example why do they have the routers placed top and bottom? Is this to assist the feed? I would think both routers on the same plane (top or bottom) would give opposing forces and balance each other out.

What material did you use for your double table? Do you have a pic oh'mike?

I used a particle board desk top---1 inch thick---melamine top and bottom--5 feet by 3 feet-----

It is used for stile and rail cabinet work----long fences --a screw is used for pivoting the left hand side---a Quick clamp holds the right hand side----

You ask for pictures? I have never been able to figure out posting pictures----I can work wood and stone--but computers are a complete frustration for me-----

I’d think if both routers were mounted underneath one of them would need to be running in the reverse direction.
