A double check on trellis design and sizing please...

I am building a paneled cover over my patio. I am planning on a 2x12 ledger against the house, 2x10x16 rafters (30 degree pitch) at 24" o.c. supported on the other end by a double 2x12x24 beam held up by 6x6 posts. There is an existing foundation wall around the patio where a room once stood (but a tree took it out in a storm I guess) and is the border of the existing patio. I plan on verifying the perimeter goes down 42" and then anchoring the posts to that. The beam is 12'-6" from the face of the house and the posts supporting it are about 21' apart. I am pretty sure the 2x10 rafters are allowed for this span, since the only load on them is feather light panels and snow load. My question is can the double 2x12x24 legally span the 21' between posts. Its only load is half the rafters and, again, snow load. I plan on using douglas fir and painting this assembly. I attached a draft rendering of the current design. I would appreciate any comments on construction, sizing, materials, joinery, etc.

Thanks in advance.
