dormer

I feel like an idiot asking this since I have done some framing in the past, but, I am framing a dormer over a large window, my rise is 7inches and my run is 5ft 7 and 5/8 inchs. I cant figure out the ridge height for some reason i have drawn a blank because of the 7 and 5/8 and how to add that into the 7 inch rise equation. Can somebody help out? Thanks

Are you saying the pitch is 7:12 and the ridge beam is 67.625?
If so 67.625/12*7=39.45=~39 7/16

rise should be 1'-10-1/2" if the run is 5'-7-5/8" . did you all ready divide the total run by 2 ????. BOB
