Doors for Wall to Ceiling Cupboard
I am building a wall cupboard - 22' wide by 11'6". For the bottom 8' high section I am putting in 5 sections of doors. The sections are 4',4',4',6',4'. I was planning on putting 2 regular hinged doors on each section but someone has suggested sliding doors which would need to be 4',4',4',3'+3',4'.
Section 1 would need to slide right, 2-left, 3-right, 4-1left, 1right, 5-left.
The upper cupboard will also need equal sized doors (but not as large) all across the top.
If we decide to go with the hanging doors we do not want to have problems with the sliders in the future.
What door options would you recommend and why? If you recommend the sliders what type of sliders do you recommend? Having sliders on the bottom is not an option.
I am building the doors not purchasing ready made.
All the doors should be on hinges. Sliders cover 1/2 the space all the time.
I agree with Ron, hinge all the doors using concealed cabinet hinges
