I have purchased a replacement sink that's too small for the existing opening (laminate counter) by about 2 inches. any ideas?

Two ideas come to mind...

1. Take it back.

2. Take it back.

why is the new sink too small. who measured it.. if the store measured it and its wrong they have to take the hit.. if they argue ask for a manager.. if you measured it and its wrong... well your out the money of the sink or you put in a new countertop

There is no such thing as a hole shrinker or a sink expander, so the ansewer is take it back.
