Cutting curved stair rail fittings
I am going to be installing a small wood stair railing that will have one curved over-ease fitting. I have read everything I can find about building railings. The only concern I have is getting a nice clean fit betwen the over-ease and the hand rail since I only get one shot at it. Well, actually 2 since I bought an extra fitting...just in case. I had everything made out of birch so I can't just run to HD and get another oak fitting.
Anyone have any tips or tricks to share? |
Posting a picture of the actual fittings would help.
